The Association of British Airsoft is run by players, for the players; the non-profit organisations main aim being to bring benefits to Airsoft players; whilst also educating the public and promoting the sport as a whole.

Membership with the AOBA brings a whole host of benefits for players, including full and comprehensive personal insurance, all members will be provided with an authentic registration card that will allow you to avail yourself of the VCRA defence and permit you to buy RIF's. Also available is free legal advice to any player who finds themselves needing it.

We are working closely with retailers to provide tangible benefits to members with guaranteed high discounts to all members, and we want to get game site’s involved and both listening to and working with you the players.

We are the first group set up purely for the benefit & promotion of the players and the sport. Pre registration is free to join and we want to give players the opportunity to have their comments heard but more importantly listened to.

The Association of British Airsoft will be working with individual players as well as Teams, Game Site's and Retailers. Our aim is to provide a voice for the players first and foremost because without you in the field playing our wonderful sport there simply is no Airsoft.

We are sure you have many questions and queries and we ask anyone who does have questions to forward them to us with the corresponding email address to obtain the correct information. We want to reduce as much unnecessary forum speculation/rumours.

Here is new product information:
1) We named this gear set SMOOTH, in which it included 6 pcs of 7mm ball bearing inside, so that even you use it on a 6mm gearbox or a TM (6.1mm) gearbox, you could upgrade you gun with a 7mm ball bearing performance.

2) It is PRE-SHIMMED. Compare to Modify Modular Gear set - Bushing type (Version 1), the SMOOTH is fixed on 1 piece of bracket. It's compatible with most Ver.2 and Ver.3 gearbox, including the reinforced Ver. 2 gearbox, like Systema, CA, G&P...

3) As you know, owing to the tolerance, the fixed position holes for the gear set on some brand gearboxes (such as Jing Gong...) are a little different from the stock gearbox. The Modify SMOOTH has a ARC-shaped hole on the bracket. It allows the bevel gear to be adjusted slightly for fixed position to compatible with the different brand gearboxes.

4) Each gears of the SMOOTH could be assembled and disassembled by a special tool. You could use our special tool to maintain the SMOOTH, change the gears, ball bearings and bushings...

5) The SMOOTH included: 1) Modular Gear Set with 7mm Ball Bearing, 6 pieces;
with Stainless Bush (6mm/6.1mm/7mm) , 6 pieces;
2) An-reversal Latch, 1 piece

6) Total 4 types will be available: 1) SMOOTH (Torque 21.6:1) for Ver.2/Ver.3
2) SMOOTH (Speed 16.32:1) for Ver.2/Ver.3
3) SMOOTH (Torque 21.6:1) for Ver.6 (P90)

These pouches are essential if you are building up a genuine British Army webbing kit as they also have slider plates for threading the British Army PLCE yoke through. We recommend a six-piece setup of one British Army PLCE yoke, one British Army PLCE belt, two British Army PLCE double ammo pouches, two British Army PLCE utility pouches. All are available in factory new condition and are in stock now.
